Anna Louise Davis Connell was born August 9, 1926 in Tom Bean, Texas to Andrew Henry Davis and Mabel Dee Williams Davis. She died Sunday, February 7, 2016 at Morning View Assisted Living in Maryville, Tennessee at the age of 89.
Louise was born and raised in Tom Bean. She was a graduate of Tom Bean High School. After graduating high school she married Marvin Connell. She was a strong and courageous woman. After her husband Marvin passed away in 1970 she continued running the family construction company for many years. She was a long time faithful member of the Church of Christ. She was greatly loved and will be missed.
She is survived by daughters, Margaret Russell and husband Ken, Martha Custis and husband Gary; grandchildren, Rachel, Julie, Derek, Will and Kate; great-grandchildren, Chloe, Colton, Madison, Ryan, Benjamin and Makenna; sisters and brother, Jean, Jim, and Andrea; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one great-granddaughter.
Graveside Services will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Vittitoe Cemetery, Tom Bean, Texas. Officiating the service will be Kerry King.
