Anna Alicia Brooks

April 22, 1955 - March 25, 2007

Anna Alicia Brooks, age 51, of Plano, Texas passed away March 25, 2007, at her home. She was born August 22, 1955 in Phenix City, Alabama to Gerald and Alice (Riddle) Brooks, Sr. Alicia attended the University of Texas in El Paso. She worked as a school secretary for Memorial Elementary in the PISD and was a faithful member of Grace Outreach Center in Plano, Texas. Alicia was a faithful member of the Sunday Morning “Women of the Word” LIFE group. There were courageous reports of what God was doing in her life, and her favorite spiritual subjects were tithing and communion. What He was teaching her was always an inspiration to us. She was never content to accept the status quo and her gentle prodding led the group to healthy class breakfasts of fruit and yogurt. Alicia was also the champion of our “Prayer Shawl Ministry”. Her hand-made shawls were made with love and prayer to bring comfort to those who are going through times of crisis in their life. She even brought her camera to class and took pictures for a group photo directory. Her presence will be missed.Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at Grace Outreach Center with Pastor Gerald Brooks, Pastor Deane Parker and Pastor Jesse Daniel officiating.
