Anita Margarita Djordjevic

Mrs. Anita Margarita Noeding Djordjevic, age 76 of McKinney, passed away on June 20, 2005. She was born on August 15, 1929 in Kassel, Germany to August and Anna (Schade) Noeding. On January 31, 1946, she married Miladin Djordjevic in Lima, Peru. Anita, Miladin and Obren imigrated to the United States in 1957. She was fluent in German, Spanish, and English. She retired in 1992 as manager of Naturalizer Shoes in El Paso and earned many sales awards. She was a sweet and gentle spirit—a beloved mother and grandmother (Oma). The family is grateful and would like to send a special thank you to all of her caregivers and other members of the staff at Provident Living Center who shared their time, love, smiles, hugs and giggles with her. You are her “Shatze”. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Obren and Shawnee Djordjevic of Brenham, TX; daughters and son-in-law, Anna and Jim Cousineau of Tyler, TX, and Olga and Chip Pace of McKinney, TX; grandchildren, Brandon and Nichole Djordjevic, Kelsey Cook, Daniel, Eric, and Brian Cousineau, Anna Marie Pace; brothers, Karl Heinz Noeding of Peru and Alfred Noeding of Spain; sisters, Lilo Oliva of Miami, FL and Sylvia Kruger of Germany; and nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. Her parents precede her in death. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM Wednesday, June 22, 2005, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Association, 7610 N. Stemmons Freeway, Suite 600, Dallas, TX 75247.
