Angelito Garcia Dimafelix of Allen, Texas passed away on October 1, 2020 at the age of 52. He was born January 9, 1968 to Felipe Vivas Dimafelix and Isabel Garcia in the Philippines. Angelito graduated high school from Nasugbu Institute and went to Unciano College of Nursing, both in the Philippines. He moved to the United States in 1994 where he obtained a citizenship and began his career as a Patient Care Assistant at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas where he spent the majority of his 23 year profession. Angelito married Maricon A. Candiasan on January 11, 2003 in Richardson, Texas.
He is survived by his wife, Maricon Dimafelix of Allen, Texas; father, Felipe Dimafelix of Richardson, Texas; son, Philip Marcus Dimafelix of Allen, Texas; daughter, Angela Marie Dimafelix of Allen, Texas; sisters, Lydia Diago of the Philippines, Teresita Bautista and husband, Reynaldo of Seattle, Washington and Lourdes Dimafelix of Richardson, Texas; brothers, Fernando Dimafelix and wife, Gemma of Rhode Island, Danilo Dimafelix and wife, Daisy of Allen, Texas and Crisanto Dimafelix and wife, Romina of Rowlett, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Isabel Dimafelix.
A “come and go” visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home. Only a limited number of guests will be allowed to enter the funeral home facility at any one time to maintain social distancing.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 12, 2020, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas, and will also be live streamed on the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Facebook page and a recorded video will be available following the funeral service on Angelito’s obituary page.
In support of our local, state, and federal government including CDC directives and to protect the physical health, safety and well-being of our community, only 100 guests will be allowed to attend the Funeral Service.
However, when the maximum number of guests are reached, those who would like to honor Angelito and show their support to his family may remain at the funeral home in your vehicle, where you can watch the live streamed service on your personal device (laptop, tablet or smartphone) or listen through a designated FM radio channel.
Following the funeral service, a procession will make its way to Ridgeview Memorial Park for a committal service where all are invited to attend the committal service maintaining social distancing or you may remain in your vehicle. You will be able to listen to the service through speakers set up at the gravesite.
