Angela Thoman of McKinney, Texas passed away on March 24, 2022 at the age of 71. She was born on December 8, 1950 to Harold Gentry and Jackie (Dean) Hubbard in Dallas, Texas. Her grandfather was Ray Hubbard. Angela married William Burke Thoman, Jr. on October 23, 1982 in Dallas, Texas.
Angela was always up for adventure from scuba diving in Cozumel to backpacking the Austrian Alps. She was always agreeable to move without hesitation with her husband to The Netherlands, Canada and Mexico. Her in-laws and parents enjoyed nearly weekly dinners at her house. While living in Mexico, Angela initiated “Game night in Merida” where she opened up her home weekly for countless couples to enjoy an evening of potluck dinner, party and to play Chicken Foot. She loved to party and was the first to dance the minute the music began. Her friends and family would say no one could host a party or holiday meal like Angela could. For eight years she invited as many as 20 friends over at a time to ensure everyone was enjoying the true spirit of many holidays, including Christmas and Thanksgiving.
She is survived by her husband, William Burke Thoman, Jr.; mother, Jackie Dean Martin; son, Justin Hubbard Koustoubardis; grandchildren, Devin, Gavin, and Grace Koustoubardis; sisters, Charlotte Browning and husband, Hal of Dallas, Texas, Janet Rombough of Georgia; great granddaughter, Autumn Koustoubardis; stepdaughter, Laura Thoman Gleaves and husband Chris, and their sons Mason, Tyler and Travis; as well as numerous other loving family and friends.
