Reanna and family, We are very sorry for your loss. Please accept our deepest sympathy, along with our thoughts and prayers. Cheryl and Mary Hoffman, November 21, 2013 I will be in prayer for your family during your time of mourning. Melissa Wheeler, November 21, 2013 GrandMa, you are truly missed. Thanks for all the prayers, love, and acceptance you shared with us. Much Love, Jose & Sonia Moreno & Family, November 21, 2013 On Saturday I lost the most important person in my life. I knew this day would come but not this soon and I was not prepared for it. Mama, you are my role model, my strength, my inspiration, my mentor, and my hero. There was no one who played a more important roll in my life than you. The story of your life is what drives me. How you took $2.50 and turned that into a large very successful company, made lots of money, took care of your family and others, and did it by yourself inspires me! You did this at a time when women didn't run companies. It truly took someone with strong convictions, drive, and willpower to be pioneer and accomplish what you did in that era. You always held your head up high, smiled around us, persevered through any adversary, never complained or shed a tear, spoke ill of anyone, and forgave those you wronged you. You are the Matriarch of our family that guided and held it together. Your unwavering dedication to our family despite all the adversities you had to endure, your work ethic, drive to succeed and be the financial provider for your family is remarkable. These are things that you have instilled in me, and made me the person that I am. I am the man that I am because of you. My work ethic, drive to succeed and accomplish my goals, to never give up in the face of adversity, always try to better myself, have control of my emotions, have lot of integrity, strong morals and values, place God first in my life, and never forget about family are all traits I learned from you. You also have such a compassionate heart, and were always trying to help others. It was though you taking me to church that I was saved at 5 years old. I will never forget your face and how bright your smile was the first time you would see me at the airport after one of those trips to Trinidad and back. At the same time I also did not forget those tearful goodbyes at the airport, but we always knew we would see each other again. At last, this is our final goodbye and it breaks my heart. I feel so empty without you here. I would give anything to tell you I love you and hug you one last time. Nothing will ever replace you. I know you’re in heaven looking down on us and I will live my life to make you proud! As you would say to me, I say to you, "I love you so so so so so much!" Sean Christopher-Chan, November 21, 2013 Chan Family, please accept our condolences in this time of grief. Our prayers are with you at this time of need.
