IN LOVING MEMORY

Angel Hamm

Dec 03 1976 - Sep 08 2022

Angel was a beloved mom, daughter, sister, and friend.  She was fun-loving and always up for a good debate.  She met the love of her life, Johnny in 1997.  They lived and raised their family in New Hope.  Her beloved Johnny passed in 2016. Angel went on to win and carry the torch of his mayor's chair from 2018-2020.  Angel was supremely capable, but still not realizing her own potential.  She was loved by many and was friends with everyone, no matter their walk in life.  She knew her neighbors well and loved to talk politics and be involved in community affairs.  She was generous, always giving to those in need and on a mission looking for a way to help someone.  And always always always could throw together a gift bag for anything in a flash.  Angel was very elegant and took great pride in her rapunzel-like hair and appearance.

She was an amazing coordinator, from a simple vase of flowers to the town's national night out events, in which she excelled. She loved bringing the community together.  She treasured family traditions, every year watching the Christmas Story and her favorite Polar Express and cooking favorite holiday treats like her famous sausage balls. She planned huge celebrations for birthdays or any special events for her children in style.

Angel is survived by her children, Trey Hamm, Tanner Hamm, Kellye Hamm; mother, Reita Lois Partin; sisters, Chandra Carr and Melaney Crawford (Stanley); granddaughter, Whitney Hockett; and many nieces and nephews, uncles & aunts.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Hamm; son, James Hamm; father, Keith Boyd Partin; grandparents, Tom & Lucille White and John and Katherine Partin; and brother-in-law, Travis Carr.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 16, 2022 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas.  Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends during a visitation on Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
