Andrew Raye Reneau, 38 years of age, passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at Baylor Scott & White in McKinney, Texas. Andrew was born on January 16, 1985, in Dallas, Texas to Stephen Reneau and Tammie Hammonds-Reneau. He was the youngest of three children. Andrew attended North Mesquite High School in Mesquite, Texas. He graduated in 2003.
Andrew married Trisha Taylor on July 16, 2014, and three children were born from this union. Andrew accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and was Baptized on May 2, 2021.
Andrew enjoyed being around his family and friends. His hobbies included listening to music of all genres, supercross, motocross, fast cars, and making people laugh. He loved hunting, fishing, and anything outdoors. He adored watching his children participate in sports and other activities. He excelled in his career at Southwest Erosion Control, where he gained many life-long friends.
His bright, contagious smile lit up every room he entered. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, son, brother, nephew, and friend.
Andrew is survived by his wife, Trisha Reneau of Anna, Texas; children, Maddox, Jensen, and Rayelynn of Anna, Texas; mother, Tammie Hammonds-Reneau of Seagoville, Texas; father, Stephen Reneau of Dallas, Texas; sister, Crystal Shelton and husband, Keith of Balch Springs, Texas; brother, Stephen Todd Reneau of Seagoville, Texas; grandmother, Wava Longley and husband James of Grand Prairie, Texas; nephew, Nicolas Mankin of Balch Springs, Texas; niece, Cheyenne Mankin of Balch Springs, Texas; and numerous aunts, uncles, and other loving family members and friends.
Andrew was preceded in death by his grandfather, Raymond Hammonds and grandmother, Winnifred Hammonds; uncle, Will Loyd Hammonds; and aunt, Barbara Ann Denby; great grandparents, Robert Andrew and Fleta Rhea Reneau.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 21, 2023 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
