Andrew (Andy) Scott Broderick, age 39, of McKinney, Texas passed away March 10, 2009. He was born December 22, 1969 in Bensenville, Illinois to Robert and Anne (Hughes) Broderick. On October 21, 1997 Andy married Diane Engel in Nashua, New Hampshire. He graduated from Edmond Memorial High School in 1988 and received his Bachelor of Science Degree in electrical engineering from Oklahoma State University in 1995. Andy worked for Texas Instruments in Dallas for 5 years. He enjoyed fishing with his son, brother, and Dad in Canada. Andy loved to watch William play football and play the saxophone. He is survived by his wife, Diane Broderick of McKinney, Texas; son, William Broderick of McKinney, Texas; parents, Robert and Anne Broderick of Edmond, Oklahoma; sister, Beth Anderson and her husband, Keith of Bloomington, Indiana; brother, Dr. Richard Broderick and his wife, Jerri of South Barrington, Illinois; sister, Cindy Broderick of Chicago, Illinois and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, March 14, 2009, at St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church with Father Don Zeiler officiating. The Family will receive friends during a visitation on Friday evening beginning at 5:00 p.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Allen, Texas. A rosary service will begin at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
