Anastacia Benitez

August 12, 1960 - April 22, 2020

Anastacia F. Benitez of Springdale, Arkansas passed away on April 22, 2020 at the age of 59.  She was born August 12, 1960 to Andres Cornejo and Maria De Jesus Flores in Camutla, Guerrero, Mexico. Anastacia married Daniel S. Benitez on February 27, 1979 in Camutla, Guerrero, Mexico. 

She is survived by her husband, Daniel S. Benitez of Springdale, Arkansas; children, Abel Benitez and wife, Jessica Benitez of Dallas, Texas, Everett Benitez and wife, Zaida Benitez of Red Oak, Texas, Samuel C. Benitez of McKinney, Texas, Daniel Benitez of Trenton, Texas; grandchildren, Andrew A. Benitez of Dallas, Texas, Nathan J. Benitez of Dallas, Texas, Madison “Maddy” Benitez of Dallas, Texas; mother, Maria De Jesus Cornejo Flores of Camutla, Guerrero Mexico; siblings, Gloria Ocampo and husband of La Cañada, Guerrero Mexico, Virginia Rodriguez and husband of Zacapuato, Guerrero Mexico, Rafaela Sanchez of Houston, Texas, Santos Cornejo and wife of Zacapuato, Guerrero Mexico, Alejandro Cornejo and wife of Camutla, Guerrero Mexico, Nazaria Cornejo and husband of Parral, Chihuahua Mexico, Antonio Cornejo and wife, Dallas, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews as well as extended friends and family that loved her dearly.

Anastacia was preceded in death by her father, Andres Cornejo.

In support of our local, state, and federal govt including CDC directives and to protect the physical health, safety and well-being of our community, only a limited number of guests will be allowed to attend the Funeral Service.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 30, 2020, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas, and will also be live streamed on the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Facebook page and a recorded video will be available following the funeral service on Anastacia’s obituary page.

However, when the maximum number of guests are reached, those who would like to honor Anastacia and show their support to her family may remain at the funeral home in your vehicle, where you can watch the live streamed service on your personal device (laptop, tablet or smartphone) or listen through a designated FM radio channel.
