She and her family moved to Richardson, Texas in 1988. She graduated from J.J. Pearce High School in 1993. She immediately went to work for Eye Care Associates where she displayed a tremendous work ethic and passion for helping people. She made life-long and loyal friendships with her associates. She had a natural gift and talent for the optical industry and excelled at every position she held.
Amy met Todd at the Baptist Book Store in 1995. They were married that same year. Amy was a loving, tender, dutiful and faithful wife to Todd. She later became a homemaker where she took care of Todd and her cats.
Amy had passions and natural talents for singing, decorating, painting, and cooking. Few knew that Amy was a true crime buff. She had great intuition which made her a perfect sleuth.
Amy’s upbringing taught her to be respectful, attentive, detail oriented, compassionate, helpful, caring, loving and thoughtful. She enjoyed spending time and staying in touch with her family and friends from around the nation. Amy often sent flowers, cards, and small gifts simply to say I love you, or to comfort a hurting heart. She was a gifted listener and wise beyond her years.
