Amy Lynne Sullivan

Amy Lynne (Yates) Sullivan, a resident of Carrollton, Texas passed away October 7, 2024 at the age of 51.  She was born on May 19, 1973, to Ezra Buddy Lynn Yates and Rena Kathyleen (Walker) Yates in North Richland Hills, Texas.  Amy graduated from Lubbock Coronado High School and continued her studies at Texas Tech University and North Texas University, earning a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies.  Amy met the love of her life, Bryan Sullivan. They celebrated their love and commitment to each other on their wedding day, December 18, 2011, under the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France. 

Amy began her career as a teacher in Coppell, Texas, where she developed strong communication and leadership skills. After some time in education, she transitioned to the corporate world, working for Bristol Myers Squibb. Following that, Amy spent twelve years at Exact Sciences, where she honed her expertise in the healthcare industry and contributed to significant advancements in patient care as an oncology diagnostician.

Amy loved traveling, cooking, being outside, and the Dallas Cowboys.  But most of all, Amy was happiest spending time with her family, friends, and her dogs. “No one loves their family more than I do!” ~ Amy Sullivan

Amy is survived by her beloved husband, Bryan Sullivan, of Carrollton, Texas; son, Brandon Wood (Ashley), of Seattle, Washington; daughter, Lindsey Wood, of Florida; parents, Kathy and Buddy Yates, of McKinney, Texas; daughters, Riley Cook (Radford), and Cassidy Sullivan, both of Dallas, Texas; son, E. J. Sullivan, of Frisco, Texas; sisters, Laura Schmidt, of Plano, Texas, and Tiffany McWhorter, of Fort Worth, Texas; and a host of other loving family, friends, and colleagues who will dearly miss her and cherish her memory.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Friday, October 11, 2024, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas.
