IN LOVING MEMORY

Amy Lynn Osler

May 14 1963 - Nov 30 2022

Amy Lynn Osler, age 59, went to heaven on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 after a long battle with early-onset Alzheimer’s at home with her husband, Greg Osler. They have been lovingly married since Valentine’s Day, February 14, 1994. Amy was the beloved mother to Mindy Osler and Gregory Osler; and step-mother to Scott Osler and fiancé Debra Miron and Tricia Berry and husband, Matt. She was grandmother to Kira Osler, Tristan Osler, Bridger Berry and Cody Berry. She is also survived by her mother, Kay Brodhead, and sister Mindy Averitt and husband Larry, and is preceded by death by her father, Bob Brodhead.

Amy attended the University of Georgia and graduated from Louisiana State University before moving to Dallas, Texas. She began working at Mercury Communications in 1991 and was Vice President of Sales until 1999.

Amy was stead-fast in her faith and was known to be very active in her community. She volunteered her time to numerous causes, and once diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, she worked to spread awareness and educate people about the disease. Team Amy also participated in the Greater Dallas Walk to End Alzheimer’s. In 2016, Team Amy was the third-largest Alzheimer’s support group in the nation. The AWARE foundation continues to give out the annual Amy Osler Spirit of Education Leadership Award.

We would like to make a special thanks to Dr. Dianna Kerwin and caregivers, Coretta Davis, Tina Bryant, and Jackie McKisack.

A celebration of life service will be held at Highland Park Presbyterian Church on Monday, December 12th at 1:30 p.m. with a reception to follow. Please wear a touch of pink in her honor.

In lieu of flowers, donation to AWAREdallas.org in Amy’s name would be appreciated.
