Amanda Gail Hall

Amanda Gail Hall was born on November 23,1979 in Fort Worth,Texas to Vickie Lynn Proctor. Amanda accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at nine years old at the Birdville Baptist Church in Haltom City, Texas. She was a faithful and dedicated member of One Community Church in Plano, Texas. After going on a blind police ride along, she met Freddie Lee Hall, Jr., they fell in love and got married on May 27, 2006. To this union they were blessed with two beautiful children, Peyton and Miles.

Amanda graduated from Haltom High School in 1998. She received a bachelor’s degree from UT-Arlington in 2002 and then went on to receive her master’s degree in 2008 and became a family nurse practitioner. Amanda’s passion was health care and serving people. She had a beautiful way of relating to patients and they were touched by her love and compassion. She always had a way of relating to patients and that passion was always felt when she took care of others. She enjoyed running, gardening, cruise ships, and being with family and friends.

Amanda is survived by her husband, Freddie Lee Hall, Jr. of McKinney, Texas; daughter, Peyton Hall and son, Miles Hall of McKinney, Texas; twin sister, Rebekah Watts and husband, Edmond of Arlington, Texas; sister, Amber Proctor of Watauga, Texas; uncle, Bobby Rogers and wife, Rebecca of Haltom City, one great aunt, Patricia Foster of Naples, Texas and a great uncle Tommie Martin also of Naples, Texas. Amanda also leaves behind numerous cousins, in-laws and friends who all loved her dearly.

Amanda was preceded in death by her mother, Vickie Lynn Proctor.

A funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 18, 2023 at One Community Church, 2400 State Highway 121, Plano, Texas 75025. The family will receive family and friends during a visitation Thursday evening at 12:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
