Allen will be greatly missed by me and my family. My first memories of him are from my college days in El Paso where he and I would play chess for hours and hours. He was a great competitor -- firm but kind and a joy to be around. The things I learned from him were his ideas of faithfulness to his wife, honest dealings with others and hard work. All these character traits came from his belief in God and what God wanted him to be. I have no doubt where he is and that he is smiling down on us --- and waiting for us to join him. Roy Stockard, June 21, 2009 I love you and I will miss you very much!!! Cody Jones, June 16, 2009 Popos was my wonderful grandfather. The best grandfather I could ask for. We had so much fun together while I grew up with him whether it was traveling to Disneyland, Disney World, or Six Flags, golfing, shaving cream/water ballon fights in the back yard, watching movies, going to Cattleman's, Leo's, Chico's Taco's and the Stateline in El Paso, camping trips, Christmas' and Thanksgivings, playing video games, and, of course, watching the Dallas Cowboys play - we had a blast. I learned so many things from him. He was such a wonderful person. I love him very much and he will be deeply missed, but never forgotten. He will always be with me. I know you are finally at peace, Popos, and with our Lord. I will see you again some day. I love you so much! Eric Jones, June 15, 2009 Dear Eric, I am so sorry for the loss of your grandfather. You told me what a great man he was. My condolences go out to you and your family. I will keep you in my prayers. Tamarah Murley, June 14, 2009 My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Kristin Lee Gabaldon, June 13, 2009
