Alison Lindorfer, age 30, formerly of Allen, Texas, passed away in Oklahoma, on July 1, 2007. She was born on December 2, 1976 in Dallas, Texas to Arno and Linda (Dawson) Lindorfer. Alison attended high school in Allen, Texas where she was Captain of the Drill Team her senior year and graduated with honors in 1995. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biomedical Science. Alison then graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Doctor of Optometry Degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. Alison was a member of Chi Omega Sorority, and also several professional organizations. She attended the First United Methodist Church in Pryor, but was a member of the First United Methodist in Allen, Texas. Alison was Assistant Clinical Professor at Northeastern State University and worked at the Salina Indian Clinic through NSU. Alison spent what free time she had reading. She is survived by her parents Arno and Linda Lindorfer of Allen, Texas. A memorial service will be held on Friday July 6, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Allen, with Reverend Matt Gaston and Reverend Cammy Gaston officiating. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Thursday, July 5, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home. There were two funeral homes involved in Alison's burial, here at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow and Stephens Memorial Chapel in Prior, Oklahoma. Both have web sites with memory books.
