With great sorrow, the Morrison family announces the passing of Alice Morrison at the age of 98.  Alice Dorothy Grace Morrison was born on February 1, 1925 in Fergus Falls, Minnesota to Charles and Rose Bilek.  Alice, her parents, her three sisters (Shirley, Evelyn and Grace) and brother (James) moved to Omaha, Nebraska in 1934 where Alice graduated from Technical High school in 1942.  She was married to James Morrison in 1946 and together they had four children.  In addition to raising a family, Alice worked a number of jobs and retired from Bergan Mercy hospital where she had worked as a purchasing manager for 11 years.  After retiring, she moved first to Thayer, Missouri and then to Allen, Texas where she passed away on March 31, 2023 due to complications from contracting the Covid virus.  She continued to be mentally sharp until the time of her death and never stopped learning.  She embraced technology and spent much of her later life working and reading on her computer, tablet and smart phone.  She is survived by her sister, Shirley Dahl of Alton, Missouri; daughter, Kathy Collins of Humble, Texas; sons, Kevin Morrison of Allen, Texas and Doug Morrison of Richardson, Texas; granddaughter, Teresa Collins of Houston, Texas and great grandchildren, Aiden McBean and Sebastian Deywalt both of Houston, Texas.  She was preceded in death by her son James Morrison.  Alice will be interred in Ridgeview Memorial Park in McKinney Texas.
