Alfredo Flores, Jr.

Alfredo Flores, Jr., of McKinney Texas passed peacefully on April 28, 2025, at the age of 86. Born November 29, 1938, in McAllen, Texas, Alfredo lived a life devoted to family, faith, and hard work. On May 26, 1963, he married the love of his life, Alicia Silva, in Robstown, Texas, and together they built a beautiful life filled with love and purpose.

Alfredo is survived by his beloved wife, Alice Flores of McKinney, Texas; daughters Maribel Wicke of Fort Worth, Texas, Yvette Stayman of Dallas, Texas, and Kristie Reyes of Lago Vista, Texas; and his son, Alfredo Flores III of Dallas, Texas. Son in laws, David, Doug, Shawn and Daughter Law Mahsa. He was a proud and devoted grandfather to Lauren Wicke, Chandler Wicke, Skyler Wicke, Drew Stayman, Jacob Stayman, and Asher Stayman, Sir Morris Reyes, and Kingston Reyes. He is also survived by his loving sisters Emelda Gonzalez, Rosa Alicia Rangel, Daisy Garza, and Tommy Bueno.

Alfredo was preceded in death by his parents. Alfredo was a man of many hobbies, one of his favorite being singing. His singing was spectacular and at one point in his life he was the lead singer of the band Fito Flores y El Conjunto that traveled from Falfurrias and throughout South Texas. After leaving that life as a musician he set his roots down and proceeded to work at being the best husband, father, and grandfather a family could ever ask for. His kindness to others was second to none and the love he gave to others will be dearly missed and always remembered.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Friday, May 2, 2025 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
