Mr. Alfred John Vizza, Sr., age 93, of Frisco, Texas, passed away March 15, 2007 in Plano, Texas. He was born on April 4, 1913, in Mt. Savage, Maryland, to Carmen and Emma (Sween) Vizza. On September 9, 1935, he married Helen Haupt in Frostburg, Maryland. He served his country in the US Navy during World War II. Mr. Vizza was a plumber and a member of the American Legion. Surviving relatives include his wife of seventy-one years, Helen; son Al Vizza, Jr. and his wife Barbara of Frisco, TX; granddaughter Gina Kern and her husband Chris of Frisco, TX; great-grandchildren Elizabeth, Ethan and Caroline Kern of Frisco, TX; sisters Angie Keller of Lavale, MD and Gertie Wolford of Utah; and a host of other loving family and friends. Preceding him in death were his parents; sisters Caroline Lennox and Margaret Vizza; and brother Rudolph Vizza.
