Alfred Gilmore of McKinney, Texas passed away December 14, 2020 at the age of 74. He was born on December 27, 1945 to Marion H. Gilmore and Lucy Faye (Shadix) Gilmore in Daingerfield, Texas. Alfred married Willie Wilson on December 3, 1989 in McKinney. He worked many years for Richardson Independent School District in Richardson, Texas. Alfred was a devoted member of Throckmorton Street Church of Christ in McKinney. He obeyed the gospel over 30 years ago, Alfred was faithful and active in the Lord’s work.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 31 years, Willie Gilmore of McKinney, Texas; son, Charles Marion Gilmore; daughter, Sabrina Michelle Gilmore; stepchildren, Airia Harlan, Jr., Robert Cole, and Yolandera Austin; sister, Felicia Stanford; brother, Mark Gilmore; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other loving family and friends.
Alfred was preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Lucy Gilmore; daughter, Sandy Gilmore; sisters, Virginia Evans and Linda Hamilton; brothers, Lucky Gilmore, Woodrow Gilmore, Steven Gilmore and Ronnie Gilmore.
In support of our local, state, and federal govt including CDC directives and to protect the physical health, safety and well-being of our community, only a limited number of guests will be allowed to attend the Funeral Service.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 18, 2020, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas. After the service, the recorded live stream will be available for viewing at the same link location.
