IN LOVING MEMORY

Alexandria Marie Harvey

Jun 25 1995 - Nov 01 2024

Alexandria Marie Harvey, a resident of Sherman, Texas passed away November 1, 2024, at the age of 29.  She was born on June 25, 1995, to her loving parents, Michael Wayne Harvey and Kelley Rena (Mahoney) Harvey at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, in Goldsboro, North Carolina.  Growing up, Alex saw much of the United States. In her early years, she was home schooled and graduated from Gunter High School in the Class of 2013.  After high school Alex took an academic break before attending Grayson College.

Her love of horses ignited at just two years old, and by nine, she had her first horse. Since then, Alex galloped through life, sharing her passion by teaching others to ride. Her fiery spirit drew her to the toughest, wildest horses, but she remained untamed herself.

Alex was also a gifted artist, capturing the beauty of horses with remarkable detail. Helping others was central to her life; she faced every challenge fearlessly and never backed down. Yet, beneath her vigor was a tender heart. She cherished her daughter Lara above all, always ensuring her safety and happiness. Their time together was the most precious gift of all.

Alex is survived by her beloved daughter, Lara Marie, of Sherman, Texas; father, Michael Wayne Harvey (Mandy), of Celina, Texas; mother, Kelley Rena Harvey (John Sanderson), of Bells, Texas; fiancé, Joe Michael Theulen, of Sherman, Texas; sister, Karina Michelle Kirchner (Joshua), of Sahuarita, Arizona; grandparents, Melvin Wayne Harvey (Patricia), of McKinney, Texas; grandmother, Nita Jane Mahoney, of Bells, Texas; aunt and uncle, Tricia Gail Jackson (Keith “Nacho Libre”), of Lancaster, Kentucky;   numerous loving family and friends, who will dearly miss her and cherish her memory.

Alexandria was preceded in death by her grandfather, Mack Everette Mahoney.
