Alexander Efren Elsasser

Alexander Efren Elsasser of Sherman, Texas passed away April 10, 2021 at the age of 24.  He was born on November 19, 1996 to Joseph David Elsasser and Sylinda Annette Mack in McKinney, Texas.  Alexander was a 2016 graduate of McKinney Boyd High School.  He worked various jobs in McKinney until he found his passion working for a tax accounting firm.  Alexander enjoyed fishing, cooking, and grilling.  He also enjoyed video games, but he got his most joy from playing with his son.  Alexander was a member of Shiloh Church of God in Christ in McKinney.  He was a loving father, son, grandson, and brother.

Alexander is survived by his son, Xavier Alexander Elsasser of Fort Worth, Texas; mother, Sylinda A. Mack of McKinney, Texas; father, Joseph David Elsasser, Sr.; brother, Joseph David Elsasser, Jr. of McKinney, Texas; sister, Alyssa Maree Elsasser of McKinney, Texas; grandparents, Sandra and Larry Nelson of Ravenna, Texas, Dorothy Davis of Dallas, Texas, and Roosevelt Doss of McKinney, Texas; and a host of other loving family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Laura Elsasser.

In support of our local, state, and federal govt including CDC directives and to protect the physical health, safety and well-being of our community, only a limited number of guests will be allowed to attend the funeral service.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon, Monday, April 19, 2021 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas.  The service will also be live streamed at TJMfuneral.com on Alexander’s obituary page by clicking on the following link:  https://celebrationoflife.tv/blog/alexander-efren-elsasser.  After the service, the recorded live steam will be available for viewing at the same link location.

Should the maximum number of guests be reached, those who would like to honor Alexander and show their support to his family may remain at the funeral home in your vehicle, where you can watch the live streamed service on your personal device (laptop, tablet or smartphone) or listen through a designated FM radio channel.

Family and friends are invited to Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013 at their convenience on Sunday from 1:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. to pay their respects and to sign the register book.  Only a limited number of guests will be allowed to enter the funeral home facility at any one time to maintain social distancing and masks will be required.
