William Alexander Moala of Denton, Texas passed away May 18, 2024 at the age of 22. He was born to William John and Jill Michelle (Howard) Moala on July 23, 2001 in Dallas, Texas.
Alex was the absolute best son, brother, grandchild and friend we could have ever asked for. He had the best sense of humor, funniest gestures and mannerisms, the most wonderful smile, biggest laugh and the sweetest and most caring heart. He had so much love for his family and friends. He never failed to make us laugh. Alex would do anything for anyone. He enjoyed fixing things with his hands. He loved spending time outside, especially as a kid. Thank you, Alex, for the almost 23 years of wonderful memories you have given us. The car rides with Elvis and George Strait music blasting, the endless uno and wahoo games, our family road trips, all the weekends spent at memaw and papaws, all the trips to Arkansas, all the movie and tv show marathons. The list could go on and on. We will forever cherish every single memory.
We are comforted by the fact that Alex is with our Heavenly Father and not in pain. Our sweet, tender hearted Alex, life will never be the same without you. We will forever miss and love you.
Alex is survived by his parents, John and Jill Moala of Denton, Texas; siblings, Sydney, Kate, Taylor, Bryce, and Brooke Moala, all of Denton, Texas; grandparents, Fred and Beth Howard, Willie and Sally Moala, all of Carrollton, Texas; uncles and aunts, Jared and Vao Moala of Euless, Texas, Megan and Scyler Hurd of Nevada, Texas, Janella and Fred Langi of Ft. Worth, Texas, and Matthew and Ashley Howard of Carrollton, Texas; cousins, Sara, Lizzie and Tasha Hurd, Seth, Melo, Jared, Maiky, Jordan and Moriah Moala, Lilly, Noah, Gracie, Samuel, and Hudson Howard.
He was preceded in death by his aunt, Lisia Moala.
Serving as pallbearers will be Bryce Moala, Trevan Fenner, Jack Hines, Jacob Penny, Matthew Howard, Jared Moala, Seth Moala, Melo Moala, Martin Rodriguez, Jr. and Isaac Ordaz.
Honorary pallbearers will be Martin Rodriguez, Sr., Conroy Hines, Scyler Hurd, Morgan Meyers, Jay Fenner, Jason Penny, Sei Gordon, Danny Cogdell, Joe Lippe and Mark Leeds.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, May 24, 2024 at 3000 Old North Road, Denton, Texas 76205. The family will receive guests for a visitation from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday evening at the same location. The interment will be held at Baccus Cemetery, 7485 Bishop Road, Plano, Texas 75024, following the funeral service.
