In this position, she was able to get to know every student that attended Hart as well as their parents. Alis, or “Miss Alis” as her “kiddos” called her, became known as the heart of Hart Elementary. She loved all her kids at Hart and loved life itself. She had a radiant smile which was warm and welcoming and had an infectious laugh that everyone loved. To know her was to love her.
Alis was the rock of her family, a devoted mother and loving wife. She was a fiercely protective mama bear who supported her sons through sports, school, and the Young Men’s Service League.
