Albert N. Frettoloso

Albert N. Frettoloso, age 92, of McKinney, Texas, passed away October 3, 2017.  Mr. Frettoloso was born July 7, 1925, in Pawling, New York, to Elario and Catherine (Campari) Frettoloso.  He was a loving father to Albert Frettoloso, Jr., Thomas J. Frettoloso, and Debbie Frettoloso.  He enjoyed spending time with his family.  Mr. Frettoloso was a loving husband of forty-two years to Mrs. Dorothy Anne Frettoloso.  He was well known as “Big Al”, a name given to him by George W. Bush.  Mr. Frettoloso was a drummer who played with various Big Bands in the early 40’s and 50’s before entering the military.  He proudly served in the United States Air Force with the 82nd Airborne during World War II helping to liberate death camps in the Philippines.

Mr. Frettoloso is survived by his wife, Dorothy A. Frettoloso of McKinney, Texas; son, Thomas J. Frettoloso and wife, Beth of Carrollton, Texas; and grandchildren, Nathan Frettoloso and wife, Angie, Blake Frettoloso and wife, Taylor, and Caryn Northcutt and husband, Austin, all of Irving, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Albert N. Frettoloso, daughter, Debbie Frettoloso, brothers, Tony Frettoloso and Gerry Frettoloso, and sisters, Catherine Cappello and Nicki DeLeo.

A memorial mass will be held at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 11, 2017, at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 652 Redbud Blvd., McKinney, Texas 75069.
