Albert Dewey “A.D.” Cain, Jr. of McKinney, Texas passed away February 15, 2022 at the age of 80. He was born on July 18, 1941 to Albert Dewey Cain, Sr. and Maudie (Chapman) Cain in McKinney, Texas. Albert grew up in McKinney and was a 1959 graduate of McKinney High School. He married Rebecca Lynn Renfro on July 21, 1978 in Greenville, Texas. Albert worked 32 years for the Texas Department of Transportation as a Chief Inspector. He loved fishing, hunting, and going to Trade Days/Flea Markets. Albert was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved him.
Albert is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Rebecca Cain of McKinney, Texas; sons, Matthew Cain of McKinney, Texas and John Cain and wife, Lisa of Anna, Texas; daughter, Amanda Via and husband, Gary of Melissa, Texas; grandchildren, Jacob Borton, Cailie Borton, Wyatt Borton, and Amanda Sauls and husband, Matt; great-grandchildren, Lucas Sauls and Ashlynn Sauls; and a host of other loving family and friends.
He was preceded in death by parents, Albert and Maudie Cain and sister, Ethel Kathryn Spencer.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 21, 2022 at Ridgeview Memorial Park, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
The family will receive family and friends during a visitation on Sunday afternoon from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
