Alan Wayne Erwin passed from this world to be with his Lord and Savior on October 15, 2025, at the age of 68. He was born on April 8, 1957, to Earl Wayne Erwin and Glenda Sue (Franks) Erwin.
Wayne graduated from Denton High School and, as a young man, worked as a painter and welder for several companies, completing his career as a maintenance supervisor for 30 years with the same company before retiring. He married Beverly Ranae Davidson, on July 3, 2001, in Climax, Texas.
Wayne is survived by his beloved wife, Beverly Erwin; daughter Renee Mays and her spouse Jason Lee, and their children Austin Mays, Toni Lee, and David Lee; stepson Clay Gilbert and wife, Rhonda, and their children Maya Gilbert, Rhett Gilbert, Savannah Soto, and Nash Baxter; and two brothers, Rickie Don Erwin and Jacky Lynn Erwin. He is predeceased by his mother and father.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 20, 2025, at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, 11541 FM2756, Princeton, Texas 75407, Princeton, Texas 75407.
