Aimee Lisette Stein, age 39, of Allen, Texas, passed away April 22, 2015. Aimee was born July 17, 1975, in Fairfax, Virginia, to Orson Ray and Joan Louise (Searles) Cummings. She grew up in Richardson and graduated from Berkner High School in 1994. Aimee received a bachelor of science degree from the University of North Texas in 1999. She married Jason Keith Stein on December 21, 2002, at First Baptist Church in Richardson, Texas. She was a teacher and was employed with Allen ISD and most recently with North Texas Christian Academy in McKinney. Aimee was a member of First Baptist Church in Richardson where growing up she sang in the junior high and youth choirs and in Christ Shine.
She is survived by her husband, Jason Keith Stein of Allen, Texas; daughters, Lainey Grace Stein and Chloe Rae Stein; parents, Joan and Ray Cummings of Richardson, Texas; sister, Danielle Bradford and husband, Jeremy; nieces, Hadley Bradford and Hayden Bradford; aunt, Lois Peacock; cousins, Scott Padgett, Rachel Gilbault, and Jordan Gilbault; and a host of other loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lacy and Zenobia Cummings and Harold and Marion Searles, and aunts and uncles, Loretta Padgett and husband, Rae, Vern Cummings, Glynn Peacock and Alan Peacock.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 29, 2015, at First Baptist Church, 1001 North Central Expressway, Richardson, Texas, 75080. An inurnment will be held at 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas.
