Our dear Mom, Wife, Grandma, Aunt, and Friend, Agnes Nyanchama Birika, age 74, of Frisco, Texas left our world to join our Lord and Creator on the evening of May 28, 2024, in Frisco, TX. She was born on the 3rd of September 1949, to The Late Mary Kemunto Mokua and Peter Oyunge Nyamweya in Kisii, Kenya.
Agnes joins her parents and siblings, Faustina, Pasifica, Elikana and Elizabeth in Eternal Glory. She leaves behind her beloved husband Alfred Orenge Birika, her children Sylvia and her husband Fredrick, Polycarp and his wife Angela, Aquinas and his wife Joan, along with her extended families (Koreras Kwaka’s, Ondicho's and Mburu’s), many nieces, nephews and relatives, and numerous dear friends. Her love for her grandchildren, Eral, Bella, Ava, Waridi, Joaquin, and Imara, was boundless, and her legacy will continue to inspire us all.
As we humbly accept God's will, we hold dear the many joyful memories she gave us, her nurturing spirit, selflessness, and unwavering faith in God. Her warmth, kindness, and joy were infectious, and she touched so many lives in the most wonderful ways.
Join us in celebrating her life with a tribute at the Berkshire Chapel, 9073, Berkshire Drive, Frisco, Texas 75033, on Thursday, June 13, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 8000 Eldorado Parkway, Frisco, Texas 75033, on Friday, June 14, 2024, from 11:30 AM. Burial will follow at Ridgeview West Memorial Park, 7800 Sanctuary Drive, Frisco, Texas 75033. Family and friends are invited to a reception following the interment at The Heritage Depot, 6499 Page Street, Frisco, Texas 75034, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
