Adnan Fadhil Jirjis age 77, passed away peacefully at home in Plano, Texas on October 14, 2020. He was born in Baghdad, IRAQ on December 12, 1942 to Fadhil Jirjis and Naima Aziz. Adnan is survived by his son, Layth Fadhil and wife, Haynia daughters, Dalia Fadhill and husband, Bassam Khazizya and Wasan Nacy and husband, Basil and 5 grandchildren (Joseph, Jasmine, Andrew, Jonathan and Natalia). He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and brother, Frank Jirjis.
Adnan lived a life full of stories to be shared with whoever he met. He was a smart child earning his way to medical school, graduating from Baghdad University -Medical school in 1966. He later got married to the love of his life on September 15th, 1968 and he was able to establish his reputation in the medical system opening his own laboratory in Baghdad while continued working his government position as lab director of several key hospitals.
Adnan was a loving husband and caring father to his family. He dedicated many hours working with his children to achieve their goals in life. He sacrificed a lot while enduring the loss of his wife in 1995 and managing living in a new country (USA).
He was supportive in many ways to his friends and family members, going out of his way to help other strangers in need. He lived a simple life, sharing his earnings with his children and others,
Through his last stage of life, he dedicated his life to the lord but also was present in the life of his children and best friend Madeline Myers. He always reminded us to be thankful to the Lord for everything we receive and should give generously to others.
He will be missed by many and now he is rejoicing in the arms of our lord Jesus Christ!
