Adenike Oluwaseun Babalola, beloved wife, daughter, sister, and mother, passed away on October 21, 2025, at the age of 33.

Born on September 3, 1992, in Nigeria to loving parents Ayodele Ganny Babalola and Moyosola Funmilola Dahunsi, Adenike grew up surrounded by family, faith, and culture. She was proud of her royal heritage from the town of Itaji Ekiti and carried herself with grace, kindness, and strength that reflected her roots.

Adenike attended Ogun State University in Nigeria, where she earned her degree in English. In 2017, she moved to the United States to pursue her master’s degree in English and later went on to earn a second master’s degree in Healthcare Management from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas.

In 2023, Adenike met the love of her life, Olumide Omobomi. The two shared a deep bond rooted in faith and friendship and were married in December 2024. Adenike was eagerly awaiting the arrival of their daughter, Norah, and looked forward to embracing motherhood with the same warmth and dedication she showed in every part of her life.

A devoted Christian, Adenike served the Lord wholeheartedly. She was an active member of Lakeshore Church and Gospel Culture Church, where she led the children’s ministry with passion and care. She loved praying for others, studying the Bible, and encouraging those around her to deepen their relationship with God.

Adenike was known for her gentle spirit, generous heart, and unwavering love for her family. Despite the distance, she remained closely connected to her loved ones in Nigeria, speaking with them daily. She was a source of comfort, laughter, and strength to all who knew her.

Adenike is survived by her husband, Olumide Omobomi; her daughter, Norah Omobomi; her father, Ayodele Ganny Babalola of Lagos, Nigeria; her mother, Moyosola Funmilola Babalola of Lagos Nigeria; her brothers, Adebisi Babalola of England, Oluwafemi Babalola of Ireland, and Busayo Babalola of Nigeria; and a host of numerous other loving family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 7, 2025, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
