Adele Selma Grogan

Adele Selma Grogan, age 86, of Naples, Texas, passed away March 15, 2008 at her home. She was born March 24, 1921, in Haskell County, Texas, the daughter of Gus and Emma (Rueffer) Pueschel. She attended Mattson High School in Haskell County and then attended beauty school. On October 27, 1946, she married Turner A. Grogan in Haskell. She retired in 1986, after twenty years as an analyst with Lone Star Gas and was a member of Rocky Point Methodist Church. She is survived by her daughters, Deborah Sanford and her husband Sid of Carrollton and Andrea Jarman and her husband Tracy Stone of Prosper; grandchildren, Jenny Long, Paige Orsag, Brian Sanford, Wade and Jake Jarman, and Josh and Chelsea Stone; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Erna Peiser of Haskell and Leona Seelig of Haskell; and daughter-in-law, Barbara Carlson of Irving. Preceding her in death were her husband Turner A. Grogan; and son, Turner Dewane Grogan. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 22, 2008, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Pleas Layne officiating. Interment will follow at Williams Cemetery in McKinney. The family will receive friends during a visitation at the funeral home on Friday, March 21, 2008 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
