Adela Fernandez Palomino, of McKinney, Texas, passed away peacefully in the early morning of June 9, 2026, at the age of 93.
She was born on July 14, 1932, in Santa Cruz del Sur, Camagüey, Cuba, to her loving parents, Casimiro Fernandez Sacerio and Herminia Palomino Romero.
Adela was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose life was centered around her family. She was a loving, joyful, energetic, and charismatic woman who gave herself wholeheartedly to those she loved. Her strength, kindness, and generous heart made her an example of a devoted and hardworking mother.
She shared her life with her beloved husband, Armando, and together they built a beautiful family. Adela’s greatest joy was her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she loved deeply.
She is survived by her daughters, Magdalena Sanchez Fernandez and Milda Sanchez Fernandez; her grandchildren, Sergio Joa, Meyvis Garcia, Rolando Joa Sanchez, and Manfred Monzon Sanchez; and her great-grandchildren, Sergio Ernesto Joa, Samantha Garcia, Christopher Joa, Sophia Joa, and Samuel Garcia.
In addition to deeply loving her daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, Adela also lovingly welcomed Mauricio, Rolando, Nelson, and Ana Iris as part of her own family. They each held a special place in her heart.
She is also survived by many other loving family members and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.
Adela was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Armando Sanchez, and her parents, Casimiro Fernandez Sacerio and Herminia Palomino Romero.
A visitation will take place on Friday, June, 12, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
