IN LOVING MEMORY

Adam Christopher Dearing

Apr 02 1965 - Mar 26 2024

Adam Christopher Dearing, born April 2nd, 1965,  passed away unexpectedly on March 26th, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories. He was a beloved husband, father, son, and brother whose presence brought warmth and joy to those around him.

Adam is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Christine Dearing, his adoring daughters, Lauren Dearing and Avery Dearing, his mother, Loretta Lessman, and his sister, Elaine Jeremy. His family was his pride and joy, and his unwavering love and support will forever be remembered.

Adam is reunited with his father, Joseph Lessman, and brother, Mark Leicmonas. Their memories will be held close in the hearts of those who knew them.

Adam worked for many years with The V.A. Medical Centers in Long Beach, Kansas City, and Dallas as a Contract Specialist. He continued with this title working for the Defense Dept. in McKinney before retiring in February 2024.

Throughout his life, Adam found joy in golfing, gardening, traveling to visit family, and volunteering his time to those in need. Adam recently retired and discovered a love for pickleball, embracing the game with enthusiasm and a competitive spirit. His dedication to staying active and engaged served as an inspiration to all who knew him.

Adam was very involved in the community. He was an active member of The First United Methodist Church in Celina for over 14 years where he planted trees, was a member of the finance committee, and volunteered his time delivering meals to families in Celina. He recently found comfort and  a sense of spiritual belonging in church activities within the warm embrace of his new church family at New City Church in Celina.

He was a standard-bearer at many professional golf tournaments in the DFW area and family was always looking for a glimpse of him on TV.  Just recently, Adam was volunteering with the service dogs at The Baylor McKinney Hospital to help brighten the staff and patients'  days.

Above all, Adam will be remembered for his kindness and generosity. He had a heart of gold and a gentle spirit, always wanting to listen, and to help when he could. His impact on the lives of others was profound, leaving a lasting imprint on the hearts of all.

Though Adam may no longer be with us in body, his spirit lives on in the countless lives he touched and the memories he created. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Services will be held at New City Presbyterian Church in Celina, Texas on June 8th, 2024 at 10 am.
