Abigail Mackenzie Willers of Allen, Texas passed away on November 30, 2018 at the age of 18. She was born on July 20, 2000 to Thomas Arthur Willers and Heidi Yvonne (Smith) Willers in Bloomington, Illinois. She was a devoted member of The Parks Church in McKinney, Texas. Abbey was a senior at Allen High School in Allen, Texas and also attended the Allen Young Life Capernaum Group. She loved summer camps, especially Camp Courageous in Iowa and Camp Summit in Texas.
She is survived by her parents, Tom and Heidi Willers of Allen, Texas; sister, Isabelle Willers; grandparents, Art and Nina Willers, Vicki Boldt, Roger and Cathy Smith; great-grandmother, Lillian Smith; aunts and uncles, Chris and Ann Willers, Bryan and Malissa Willers, Heather and Gordon Taylor, Ben and Candi Smith; and cousins, Deja, Nick, and Lexie Willers; Gabriel, Michael, Lucas, and Samuel Taylor; and Olivia, Elizabeth, and Lanie Smith; and numerous extended family.
Abbey was preceded in death by great-grandparents, Virgil and Florence Plumb, MaryAnna Diehl, Charles and Arlene Cox, Garnet Wilkey and Robert Smith.
The family expresses their deepest gratitude to her caregivers, Madison Muniz, Ally Weldegebriel, and Paxton Wright.
A celebration of life will be held at 6:00 p.m., Monday, December 3, 2018 at The Parks Church McKinney in the McKinney Performing Arts Center, 111 North Tennessee Street, McKinney, Texas 75069.
