IN LOVING MEMORY

Abigail Kate Rascher

Sep 04 2014 - Jan 31 2024

Abigail was the brightest star to so many people. She was a 3rd grader at Lovejoy ISD. Her love for school allowed Abby to excel in all of her studies and she was recently placed in the gifted and talented program at Joe V. Hart Elementary. She was admired and adored by her classmates and teachers. Abby had been practicing gymnastics for the past 4 years perfecting her skills with coaches Jenny, Kelsey, and Coach Cris. Abby also found a love for horseback riding under her beloved instructor Jenna.

Abby loved to sing and entertain all of those around her. Her goofy and fun attitude was contagious along with her positive insight. She loved to make others laugh and cared so much about everyone's feelings. Her light was blindingly bright and touched so many.

She is survived by her father, Justin M. Rascher and his wife, Elizabeth L. Rascher of Lucas, Texas; mother, Jennifer M. Matthews and her husband, Dustin K. Matthews of Farmersville, Texas; brother, Ethan C. Jennings; and grandparents, Max and Debra Dukes of Murphy, Texas and David and Denice Hamby of Sachse, Texas. She was also survived by her beloved pets Billie, Jack, Finn, Stella, Buddy, Beau, Charlie the Tarantula and Gus the Axolotl.

A funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, February 8, 2024 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas. The family will receive guests for a visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Interment will be held at Ridgeview Memorial Park following the service.
