Aaron Wayne Koch, age 46, of Grapevine, Texas passed away on March 26, 2026. He was born on May 16, 1979, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Sharon States Oldfield and Michael Jerome Koch. Aaron graduated from The Colony High School in 1997 and went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in management information systems from Oklahoma State University.
Aaron was a good son and father. He was a big movie buff and liked to share his love of that with his son, Nicholas. Nicholas was Aaron’s greatest accomplishment, his whole world.
Aaron is survived by his son, Nicholas Koch of Bedford, Texas; his mother, Sharon Oldfield of Frisco, Texas; his father, Michael Koch of Coweta, Oklahoma; his aunts, Betty Stautzenberger and her husband, Stan, Carolyn Turnage and her husband, Jim; his cousins, Larry and Bobby Stautzanberger, Jeremy and David Turnage; the mother of his child, Karla Zamudio of Bedford, Texas.
Aaron was preceded by his grandparents.
Family and friends are invited to a Visitation on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 8520 Main Street, Frisco, Texas 75033, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Rosary will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 861 Wildwood Lane, Grapevine, Texas 76051, at 10:30 AM. A Funeral Mass will follow beginning at 11:00 AM. Interment will be held at Calvery Hill Cemetery, 3235 Lombardy Lane, Dallas, Texas 75220, at 2:00 PM on Thursday, April 9, 2026.
