IN LOVING MEMORY

Aaron Lee Larsen

Jul 25 1974 - May 08 2018

Aaron Lee Larsen of Anna, Texas passed away on May 8, 2018 at the age of 43. He was born on July 25, 1974 to Dennis Richard and Sandra Jane (Alley) Larsen in Goldsboro, North Carolina.  Aaron was the second of three children of an Air Force family. He saw much of the world moving 11 times in his first 20 years of life. He lived in Las Vegas, Nevada three times; Okinawa Japan; Victorville, California; Centerville, Virginia;  Malberg Germany; Montgomery, Alabama; Valrico, Florida; Orlando, Florida; and Melbourne, Florida.

Aaron was a very happy and positive person and friend to all.  He was a good student and an avid sports fan and player. He was very competitive in sports and played football, baseball and soccer. His coaches loved his "can do" attitude and toughness.  He graduated from Valrico High School in 1993, where he was a classmate of Laura St. Clair. When his parents were reassigned and moved to Guam, Aaron struck out on his own attending and graduating from ITT Tech. Directly from graduation he began work in Melbourne at what is now Photronics.  Aaron worked for Photronics for 20+years.

Aaron married Laura Ann St. Clair on April 10, 1999 in Melbourne, Florida. Aaron and Laura lived in Palm Bay, Florida; Avondale, Arizona; Allen, Texas; Melissa, Texas and Anna , Texas.  Aaron celebrated his 19th anniversary with his wife Laura this past April. Aaron loved his children dearly. His children were #1 in his life and he did everything that he could for them. He was an avid Green Bay Packer fan. Packer shirts and hats were his everyday apparel.  He wore them proudly and defended them fiercely. The Packers lost their #1 fan in Cowboy country.

Those who knew Aaron, knew the caring and energetic spirit that he had.  Aaron was always up for an adventure and he was always there to lend a hand. Aaron was a huge supporter of MYO from the very start. During the early productions you could see him holding up little Paige in the back row (and once Paige started performing, he would hold baby Ashleigh).  He never missed a show or a traveling performance.

The biggest joy that was ever witnessed was watching Aaron become a dad.  He was the best dad ever. He was a hands on dad that was always there to read a story, help with homework or play in the yard.  He attended every performance, open house, conference, band concert, etc. He put everything he had into being the best dad ever.

Aaron was the rock of our family. He was strong and compassionate with the best sense of humor.  He taught us to always be truthful, stand up for what we believe in and never give up. He fought a courageous fight until the very end.  He will always be loved and cherished by his wife, children, family and friends.

Aaron is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Laura Ann Larsen of Anna, Texas; children, Paige, Ashleigh, Zachary and Alexander; parents, Dennis and Sandra Larsen of Canyon Lake, Texas; sister, Amanda Berg and husband, Bryon of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin; brother, Dennis Larsen and wife, Leslie of Fredericksburg, Virginia; in-laws, Ron and Linda St. Clair of Anna, Texas; nieces, Megan Larsen and Madalyn Berg; nephew, Tyler Berg; and numerous other loving family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas.
