Aaron Carl Davis

Aaron Carl Davis, age 79, of Princeton, Texas, passed away October 14, 2012, in Rowlett, Texas. Aaron was born August 3, 1933, in Princeton, Texas, to Sylvester Carl and Rene Mae (Williams) Davis. He married Betty Lee Murphy on April 11, 1957, in Dallas, Texas.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Davis of Princeton, Texas; son, David Davis and wife, Margaret of Princeton, Texas; granddaughter, Kristen Davis of Forney, Texas; grandson, Joshua Davis of Princeton, Texas; brothers, Leo Davis of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, Johnny Davis, and Randy Davis, both of Princeton, Texas; sister, Diane Garner of Camden, Arkansas; and host of other loving family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Glen Davis and Kenneth Davis, and sisters, Barbara Ann Miller and Bobbie Davis.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 18, 2012, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas with Brother David Meeks officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
