COVID-19 Restrictions

COVID-19 Alert

For over 100 years, families throughout North Texas have entrusted Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow with the care of their loved ones. In response to COVID-19 concerns and our responsibility to the families we serve and our staff, we are making the following changes to our normal business procedures for the duration of the crisis.

  1. Making Funeral Arrangements:
    1. A maximum of three (3) people may attend the arrangement process in our offices.
    2. Rather than coming into our offices, you may make funeral arrangements by phone or teleconference if you are concerned about contact with others or believe you may be symptomatic of COVID-19.
    3. For your convenience, you may use our preplanning form to collate your information before meeting with a funeral director.
  2. Viewing/Visitation, Funeral Services and Graveside Services:
    1. The number of guests will be limited to remain compliant with the Executive Order issued by Texas Governor Greg Abbott, currently limiting the maximum number of people to ten (10). Funerals are included in the types of social gatherings affected by the order.
    2. We will also limit the number of guests who may attend these types of services depending on the size and space provided at that particular location. We will urge social distancing.
    3. At non-TJM facilities, we will follow the guidelines of that facility.
  3. Facility maintenance: We will thoroughly clean and disinfect all areas of our buildings periodically throughout the day, as well as after a service, visitation/viewing, or other event. We will also provide proper bathroom soap and hand sanitizer dispensers, as available.
  4. Condolences: You may want to post your condolences to the family in the online guestbook, send flowers, write a personal note, or choose a personal way to let the family know your thoughts and prayers.
  5. Funeral service video: To make the funeral service available to those who cannot or choose not to attend, with the family's permission we will be filming the service and posting the video on our TJM YouTube site, our TJM Facebook page, and on the individual's obituary on our website. We encourage you to view the video as you are able.
  6. Ridgeview Florist and A Twist of Lime: We will welcome your order by website or phone. At this time, we are continuing to make deliveries.
  7. Ridgeview Memorial Park and TJM Life Insurance Offices: We ask that you call our office prior to arrival. We will try to help you over the phone so that you do not have to come inside our building.
  8. Catering by TJM will be discontinued until further notice.
  9. In consideration of others, we ask you:
    1. Not to enter our buildings if you have traveled internationally within the last 14 days;
    2. To refrain from entering our buildings if you are sick, have a fever or cough, or believe you have been exposed to anyone who has tested positive or has coronavirus symptoms;
    3. To practice social distancing by maintaining a six-foot distance from other people;
    4. To cover your nose and mouth with a tissue or flexed elbow when coughing or sneezing;
    5. To wash your hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds;
    6. To stay informed; the latest information may be found at the Centers for Disease Control.
Thank you for your understanding during this time. If you have any questions, please call us at 972-562-2601.
Sincerely,
The Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Famlly
