IN LOVING MEMORY

Zelma Irene Murphy

Sep 18 1916 - Mar 01 2009

In the early morning of March 1, 2009, Gran peacefully passed to the “other side” while Tiffany laid beside her to comfort her. She now has a new body and is enjoying the reunion with hers sisters, brother and parents who passed before her. She leaves behind her daughters, Sharon Elaine Brazeal and her husband, Don of Van Alstyne, Texas, Shirley Farley of Bonifay, Florida; grandchildren, Tiffany Lane Padilla and her husband, Rob of McKinney, Texas, Jenny Weidner and her husband, Ryan of Fairview, Texas, Russ Hamner of Van Alstyne, Texas, Cindy Kiper and her husband, Kyle of Tampa, Florida, Jan Allison Drewry and her husband, Banks of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Rev. Jon Wesley Hunter and his wife, Paula of Pittsburg, Kansas; eight great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren; sisters, Sarah Bray and Betty Moore; brother, Cecil Crawford and lots of nieces and nephews, who will have many fun stories to tell about their Granny. While living at the Plano Community Homes for the past 23 years, she enjoyed helping the other residents and helping to save the earth by lobbying for a recycling program. Gran planned for the future by making arrangements for her cremation several years ago. She believed this to be Sciptural. When all the family can be gathered from across the USA, a family reunion/memoiral service will be held. Heaven has just received one feisty Granny!!!
