Wilma Faye “Susy” Gable, of McKinney, Texas, was received into the eternal loving arms of her Heavenly Father on July 18, 2007 at the age of 90. She was born September 27, 1916, in Dallas to Hardie and Vera (Neeve) Coonrod. On May 23, 1936 she married Frank Henry Gable in Dallas. She was a long-time member of Community Bible Church, Richardson, and she was currently a member of First Baptist Church of McKinney, where she was an active member of Naomi Sunday School Class. She is survived by her children, Jean Carson and her husband Clay of McKinney, Betsy Whisenant and her husband Ben of McKinney, and Judy McCutchin of Dallas; son-in-law, Charles Mansfield of Dallas; grandchildren, Cindy Watkins of Plano, Chip Mansfield of Dallas, Mark Mansfield of Plano, Kim Murray of Plano, Todd Carson of McKinney, Stacy Bengtson of Tyler, and Kelly Shushok of Waco; fourteen great-grandchildren; and several other relatives and friends. Preceding her in death were her husband, Frank Henry Gable in 1978; daughter, Ann Mansfield; and brother, Willard Coonrod. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, July 20, 2007, at First Baptist Church in McKinney with Rev. Randy Morlan and Rev. Bob Deffinbaugh officiating. Interment will be at 2:00 PM, Friday, at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Dallas. Family and friends are invited to the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home at their convenience on Thursday to pay their respects and to sign the register book.
