William W. “Bill” Weeks of McKinney, Texas, passed away on January 15, 2014 in Dallas, Texas. He was born on June 26, 1951 in Dallas to Reuben P. and Helen (Cone) Weeks. Bill grew up in West Texas and returned to Dallas to attend college, where he met his future wife, Fran Loftus. He was a loving husband and best friend to Fran for thirty-nine years. Bill worked in healthcare administration for many years and upon retiring, he opened his own dry cleaning business. Bill had a passion for French cooking, the Rocky Mountains, and spending weekends on his boat at Texoma. He was also a tireless reader and read two to four books a week.
Bill is survived by his loving wife Fran Weeks of McKinney, Texas; cousins, Rosemary Wingate of Nocona, Texas and Carolyn Perryman of Dallas, Texas; along with a host of other loving family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Reuben P. and Helen Weeks
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Pecan Grove Cemetery in McKinney, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation being held Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
