William Stewart Tuel II, age 64, of Fairview, Texas, passed away July 27, 2007 in McKinney. He was born July 22, 1943, in Sistersville, West Virginia, to William Stewart and Ruth Evelyn (Johnson) Tuel. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from Sonoma State University and his Master’s Degree in Operations Research from the US Naval Postgraduate School. Mr. Tuel served his country for ten years in the US Navy. On April 2, 1966, he married Carol Reilly in Petaluma, California. William was a solution architect for EDS. He is survived by his wife of forty-one years, Carol; children, Kristin Darnell and her husband Don of Dexter, Michigan, William Tuel of Dallas, David Tuel and his wife Carrie of McKinney, Stephen Tuel of Dallas, Matthew Tuel and his wife Debbie of Dallas, and Stephanie Tuel of Dallas; grandchildren, Thomas and Benjamin Darnell and Emma and Claire Tuel; brother Greg Tuel and his wife Diane of Mooreville, North Carolina and Jeff Tuel and his wife Joann of Novato, California; and a host of other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, August 1, 2007, at Trinity Presbyterian Church in McKinney with Rev. Patrick McCoy officiating.
