William N. Smith, age 71, of McKinney, Texas passed away September 17, 2004, at Presbyterian Hospital in Plano, Texas. He was born November 5, 1932, in Baltimore, to William Clarence and Helen Virginia (Meyer) Smith. He is a graduate of Randolph Macon College in Ashland, Virginia and later went on to receive his J.D. from The University of Baltimore. Mr. Smith served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War Conflict. On February 11, 1961, he married Martha Lee Daniel in Mobile, Alabama. He was a Sales Administrator for International Paper Company for 29 years. Mr. Smith was of the Presbyterian faith. He is survived by his wife, Martha; daughter, Laurie Cluck and grandson, Thomas John Cluck all of McKinney, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, September 20, 2004, at the Trinity Presbyterian Church in McKinney with Rev. Patrick McCoy officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00- 6:00 p.m., Sunday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
