William “Bill” Skaehill, age 72, formerly of Russell Springs, Kentucky and Covington, Pennsylvania, passed away March 21, 2008, in McKinney, Texas. Bill was born August 16, 1935, in Hornell, New York, to William Lawrence and Frances (Brundage) Skaehill. He married Jane Brooks on August 5, 1961, in Blossburg, Pennsylvania. He was a manager in the field of government and a member of the Catholic faith. Bill proudly served in the United States Army and was an avid fisherman and wood craftsman. He is survived by his wife, Jane Skaehill of McKinney, Texas; son, Jon Skaehill and his wife, Ann of McKinney, Texas; grandson, William David Skaehill, also of McKinney; brother, James Skaehill of Tucson, Arizona; sister, Mary Campbell of Summerville, Florida; and numerous other loving relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Catherine Wilson and Phyllis Hanglow. A memorial service will be held at a future date in Blossburg, Pennsylvania.
