IN LOVING MEMORY

William Frank Morrison

Mar 21 1940 - Jun 07 2005

Bill Morrison entered the presence of his Savior on Tuesday, June 7, 2005, after an 18-month battle with cancer. Beloved husband, father, and friend to so many, he will be missed by his wife, Dotty, his daughters, Cari Holbrook and her husband, Jared of San Antonio, Shelly Kepner and her husband Peter, of Frisco, and his sister, Janet Smith of Topeka, Kansas. He was born on March 21, 1940, in Charleston, West Virginia. His schooling included 3 years at Moody Bible Institute, a bachelor’s degree at Greenville College, Greenville, Illinois, a master’s degree from SIU Edwardsville, and an administrative certification from North Texas State. Bill was a special education teacher for 29 years, 24 years at Allen High School. His passion was motivating his students to achieve academically and in life. Other interests included teaching Sunday School classes, singing in adult choir, and working with sound equipment at local churches. He was an avid birder and loved to travel. His stay on this earth was too short, but the impact he made on the lives of those he touched will live on forever. The family would like to give special thanks to the caring staff at Medical Center of Plano, including the fifth floor nursing staff, many caring doctors, and the ICU nursing staff. The Memorial Service will be June 18, 7:30 p. m. at First Baptist Church Plano, 1300 East 15th St, Plano, TX 75074. In lieu of flowers, donations to First Baptist Church Plano, Bill Morrison Memorial Fund, will be appreciated.
