William Edward (Eddie) Lindley, age 65, beloved brother, daddy, papaw, and uncle, of Waco, Texas, passed away Thursday, July 3, 2014, following a brief illness. He was born on September 1, 1948, in McKinney, Texas to the late E.T. and Dorothy Lindley. He lived most of his life in Waco and worked at the VA Hospital for several years. He will always be remembered as a huge Baylor Bear fan.
He left behind, to cherish his memories, his children, Deanna Borden and husband Buddy of Cleveland, Tennessee, Lisa Lindley and Michael Lindley of Waco, Texas; two grandsons, Leon Bailey Jr. and Zachary Lindley of Waco, Texas; one granddaughter, Kay Logan of Cleveland, Tennessee; four sisters and their families, Bonnie Bernardi Hackett, Faye Shinpaugh, Marsha Terry, and Gail Settlemyer.
Eddie is preceded in death by his son, William Edward Lindley, Jr. (Little Eddie) and daughter, Terry Louise Lindley.
A graveside service will be held, at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 5, 2014, at Ridgeview Memorial Park, in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation being held from 12:00 pm until 1:30 pm, prior to the service, on Saturday, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
