William Henry Kellaher, age 81, of Princeton, Texas, passed away January 16, 2014. Bill was born March 29, 1932, in Liverpool, England, to John Nicholas and Hannah Mary Lyall Kellaher. He spent his early years in Cork Ireland and Liverpool England where he met and married the love of his life Eileen Rooney on June 15, 1957. Following the birth of his two sons the family moved to America in 1967 where the birth of their daughter followed a year later. Bill attended Queens College in New York and was employed as a General Manager for American Airlines.
His greatest joy in life was being with his Grandchildren. His gentle spirit and loving heart meant the world to so many. A precious soul whose brightness will never dim and will live on within his family and friends hearts forever.
He is survived by his wife, Eileen Kellaher of Princeton, Texas; sons, Liam Kellaher and wife, Judi of Windsor, Connecticut and Eamonn Kellaher of Princeton, Texas; daughter, Danielle Marksberry and husband, Dale, also of Princeton; sister, Pat Dempster of Hoyton, England; and grandchildren, Ashley Kellaher and Patrick Kellaher, both of Windsor, Connecticut and Kailey Marksberry of Princeton, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, John Kellaher and Brian Kellaher and his granddaughter, Kelsie Anne-Dayle Marksberry.
A graveside inurnment service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, January 22, 2014, at Van Winkle Cemetery in Climax, Texas.
