William Thomas Gullette, age 85, of Glen Rose, Texas passed away February 11, 2010 in The Colony, Texas from complications related to diabetes. He was born August 28, 1924 in Dallas , Texas to William and Mary Francis (Sanderson) Gullette. On April 14, 1950, William married Kay Carr in McKinney, Texas . William served in the United States Navy during WWII. In 1979, he retired from AT&T, and has been a resident of Glen Rose, Texas since 1993. William was a dedicated volunteer and an active member of the Spirit Wind Church. He also enjoyed helping others and reading. William is survived by his wife of 60 years, Kay Gullette of Glen Rose, Texas; son, Tom Gullette and his wife, Melanie of Monroe, Georgia; 2 grandsons, Chris Gullette and his wife, Lisa of Apex, North Carolina and Dan Gullette and his wife, Sharla of The Colony, Texas; four great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at Glen Rose First Baptist Church, 307 NE Big Bend Trail, Glen Rose Texas, on Monday, February 15, 2010 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Mary Mercer officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Dr. Roger E. Marks Health Care Fund at the Glen Rose Medical Center in Honor of W.T.
